Well fingers crossed for good weather this weekend - so all the work can be done!

Fingers crossed for you, Paul :)

I think I've decided that I've not got a use for the boot tray/parcel-shelf thingy, so might sell it on. Only issue is postage due to physical size of the item... will have to see how I get on. I believe Damoegan was interested, so will ask him first :)

Depending on how much it wpuld cost to post it mate..

very valid question that I don't know the answer to (yet). I can't get to a post office to find out until weekend after next currently either :(

Well this weekend was the planned weekend for full suspension fitting, but unfortunately due to the weather, we cancelled it. :(

However - seeing as the weather today was great, I decided to fit the Whiteline ARB on my own - it did involve me having to buy some axle stands, but I managed it! :)

I was amazed at how easy it was to get the droplinks fitted - I removed the standard bolt, and instantly put the new one in - therefore didn't have the hassle of forcing the suspension strut back into place.

I didn't realise that I was doing the bolts up on the D clamps quite tight - checking afterwards shows the bushes to be a little squashed, so I might have to go and losen the nuts at a later stage.

Conclusion: WOW - This has REALLY transformed the rear end of the car. I went for a spirited drive, and I can really notice it! Wasn't expecting much; I opted for the middle setting; and I'm very impressed.

Was going to fit the strut brace myself too - but decided I'd done enough for now! Might do that one evening, but it'll have to come off again when the suspension is fitted anyway.. so not sure.

I've got another N75F valve on it's way to me to hopefully sort out my boost issues - I've changed it back to my old Leon N75F and it's much better than the other - but still noticable.

The Whiteline rear ARB is one of the best mods I have done, Paul. Realy transforms the handling. You realy need it on the stiffest setting though ;)

Lol Damo - I didn't see the point in going straight for the stiffest setting - thought I'd take it easy and see how things went.

Thanks "Hartosh1" - we will have virtually identical cars at this rate!

On another note - if I had some copper grease, I'd have put on my spacers today too - but unfortunately Halfords didn't have any - only normal grease - so I'll have to source some before I can fit them :(

Hopefully get the KW's fitted at some point soon!

The ARB makes such a difference just being on really... the difference between the medium and stiffest settings is minimal! Get it on the stiffest... maybe in a few weeks when you check the nuts'n'bolts are still nice and tight!

He's going to have to undo the bolts to fit the coilovers anyway, so he might as well wait until then. :)

yep - so very true! :p

Kinda why I wanted to fit all my bits at once - so I didn't have to revert anything in the process.... but I got impatient! :p

Not going black though... ;)

That's ok then! I'll let you off :D
What colour you going to do it then? I want my car to be very discrete - hence why everything is being painted black/dark colours. Unfortunately that stops with the suspension though - I am NOT painting my KW's - yellow and purple it'll have to be!

I managed to purchase some spray-can copper grease today - not sure how well it works - but I was assured it's just as good as the normal stuff - so hopefully I'll get my spacers fitted soon.

I also took delivery of another N75F valve today - which I've now fitted - but I'm yet to drive the car and find out how it performs. Here's hoping!

Well folks what can I say........ I've only had 1 drive in the car, so I hope this isn't premature. But.....

:D :D :D :D :D

The new N75 has transformed the car! Where I was used to applying a fair bit of throttle to try and get over the boost fluctuations - I'm now losing traction as the car is boosting constantly!

It's a pain that it's damp/moist out there - because I just keep losing traction :(

But - I'm a happy boy (at least for now) - and as said before, I hope that this isn't just pot luck, and that the car continues to work like this :)
