Boost Gauge

for all you people who have Leon Cupra/r mk1's, where is the best place to stick a boost gauge, i dont want it on the pillar, or sticking on top of the dash or that, i want it somewere sutble so it can blend in. Anyone have any pictures of theirs, any help woud be appreciated

most people put it in the pillar or in the air vent to the right hand side of the steering wheel

do they take the vent out? how does it pop out, as i tryed to get it off but to no avail

yea you just get a little screwdriver and prise it out i have mine in the air vent it looks nice

whats it like with it in the vent? when u have it on HOT or COLD wont this damage/ affect the gauge at all?

I can still close my vent with the gauge in there

There is a holder to put it on the top of the steering column, of a mk4 golf, but i don't think the fit is 100% (can't recall who tried it)

don't them ones cause problems with viewing of the speedo and rev counter

You can get an off-set one that goes over the revs area, but the pics i have seen still make it visible, but you loose the view to the LCD info under the revs.

No problems, best place for it tbh, direct line of sight but to the sight a touch, can easily what boost is at a glance.
