Im wanting buy some rota rb's to fit on my arosa. the wheels are 15 x 8 and have an ofset of ET30 and the tyres id be running are 195/45 R15.

any advice if these would fit and work? or would i need roll my arches? thanks.

sully

They should be ok but, I wouldnt be too sure about the clearance within the arches with them being quite wide.

ah thanks for the help, im not 100% im going down that route now, might be going abit more cheap and chearful, knowing il be fine with the choice! thanks for your help anyways.

i have a set kid.. they fit but you cant slam it... the fronts cambe rin to much and the rears catch once lowered... i got over that problem by having my rear arches rolled and by re alighning the knuckle on the front the straighten the front up.. but even now it will catch if the cars full and your giving it some round an island i'll post you some pics kid,

there you go but you cant go lower than that i have tried and tested it... i have taken the adjusters out the rear... and the fronts are about 60mm . really you need the front and rear arches rolling and 5mm spacers on the front and 10mm spacers on the back.. then your bang on mate!! :) i tell you now though the finish on the wheels look amazing,,, only problem is as mine have done within 6 months the laquer comes off.. so best bet is take them to a wheel re furbisher and have the lips diamond cut.... this way any scrathes marks and dirt will wash off and polish up to a mirror finish!!! :) mines booked in to be done next week with a1 wheels ot do this! :)

ah cheers pal, mines lowered on springs 60 mm all round so not sure teh best way goo.

i do like them just not 100% sure if i wana run them

look amazing but may need slight mods... nothing major and can do them all without re spray...

i am thinking of getting 8j wide wheels will if i lower it will i be okay without mods for say 40mm?

Depends entirely on the offset, size of the wheels and specs of the tires.

you can get away with silly low offsets on a 13X8
but on a 15X8 the lowest offset you could get away with is ET25 this shouldnt give you any scrubbing issues @ 40mm drop

Cheers jowey I'm not getting them any more anyways decided just to leave standard wheels on lower it more then save money

well mine catches on the front (on the outside of the wing.) jst...... if you give it yee haa! but doesnt rub on he back anymore! :) an thats with the adjusters out :) but et30 on a 8 inch wheel is 1 and a quater back from the centre of the wheel. s its quite low for shallow wheel arch. the star mags i had on my oldpolo were 7j with et -6... now thats a problem lol :) if you want dished wheels that you wont have a problem with ty these...

i was running down 125/130mm on my arosa at 15x7.5 ET25 and i had to run 175/50/15 tyres to get them to fit, camber like foooooooooooook at the front and rolled arches at teh back and i got them to fit. my advice, dont buy rota wheels, heres a few examples

my m8 has a lupo which is the same car basically and is running 8x15 bbs's et0 on, it has no helper springs on the front with it wound all the way down and no adjusters on the rear with 10mm spacers and quite a bit of camber running 165/50-15 s on it ill try digging out a pic its white with pink wheels if you have seen it

the helper spring at teh front does he-haw anyway other than helps to stop the shockie from blowing. the no rear adjuster thing was what i was running at teh back and for shows id deliberately fill the tank with fuel to weigh the back end down to drop it a hair further
