update again stalled again this time on a motorway at 70mph bit of a scary moment considering the brakes went soggy lol. so has anyone else suffered the same?? crank sensor has been done. could it be the oil pick up??being blocked or gunged up and unable to get enough oil up?? the oil light came on after the revs died.

oil light will come on if engine dies anyway, no turny = no oil pressure = light on
if the oil light comes on then engine dies then it's oil pressure related
most likely electrical/sensor fault or fuelling issue, blocked filters, injectors etc

im determined to get this done. But it cut out again but when it did the oil temp was at 92-96(stuck in traffic) when i stopped the car and let it cool down to 70 it went up to 80 and stayed there. It's driving me nuts because it's a hell of a car and i dont want to sell it on(still trying to sell my old car). When im checking the dippstick the oil is dark but still runny as standard not gloopy lol.
