Front/Rear Upper/Lower Strut Brace Priority

[LCR-Luke]

Just bought the front R32 roll bar and bushes for mine gonna get it fitted next weekend.
The part no's if you want are 1J0 411 305AF for the bar
x2 1J0 411 314T for the bushes
X2 1J0 411 336D for the clamps
x2 N 101 016 03 for the bolts

Thats ok. Well i work for Audi so I got them from TPS at a bit of a discounted rate

They won't be able to get hold of the bar cos it's not an Audi part no. otherwise I would have just ordered them through work myself!

Ha ha, no, got the S3 brace already Raided from J0N's LCR when he sold it. Reason I asked was because there's no local Audi or Seat dealership in Mansfield, but there is a VW dealer. If I can get it from there then excellent

Yea a VW stockist will be able to get all of the parts for you mate. Should come to around £100 quid ish

Sounds like a bargain to me mate. I know you can get better, and you'll pay for it, but from what I've read it's a vast improvement for not a lot of money. Likewise the THS FR3 kit

Dare i ask the question.... would this 'order of preferance' be applicable for the LC too? (adding the front lower too i imagine?)

for lc... id do rear arb, s3 lower, s3 upper in that order... wouldnt bother with front arb as its thicker on the lc than the r, the front arb upgrade works better on the r due to the way the arb acts o the shocks not the wishbone..

James, what order would you do the bushes in, same as an LCR?

this is usefull, just need some deep pockets as im picking up some mam mt1s on saturday! will get on this as soon as i can afterwards!

rear front wishbone to tt bushes... new topmounts...arb bushes.

i would do in that order, if your feeling fancy and flush, go for ina topmounts and some vf engineering droplinks.

I recently put a 24mm rear Whiteline ARB on my LCR on stiffest setting makes a vast difference
Other day did my S3 strut brace
Rear ARB biggest improvement I think plus Whiteline do Rear only from DPM good price as got R32 front ARB to fit
