The Sportlines will give you around a 40mm/25mm drop on the FR. You could always fit the springs and then change the dampers down the line if you need to.

I've noticed that the Eibach sportlines give around 20mm on the front and 30mm on the back of a cupra why is this, Is it because the back end is higher as standard? The H&R give 30mm all round on the cupra so not sure which will look better, Has anyone fitted the H&R springs?

The Sportline's give 50mm front and 35mm rear (about 35mm front and 20mm rear on a Cupra).

Hi damian, I know the sportlines are different drops front to back i'm just interested in why, becasue they look to give the cupra a level stance which is weird because springs are different length. Does that mean that the H&R 30mm all round springs will give an unevan drop?

The Sportlines do give a more nose down stance so the H&R's would be a more even level drop.

think im gonna give them a go, the sportlines ended up dropin the car more than i thought, must be close to 50mm for sure, so i really doubt the standard dampers will last that long

50mm??? bloody hell

mine was lowered about 30-35mm i reckon, and i regularly had issues with grounding out over humps if there were more than 2 people in the car.

lowering a car that much on standard shocks could potential ruin the damping of the standard shocks, as the piston travel would be greatly reduced.

I am very tempted, just trying to find a spring that will suit the dampers the best,

yeah i was told they probably wouldnt go more than 40mm cause the fr is slightly lower from the factory as it is, but its pretty low at the front i have to say. feels nice to drive, not crashy at all, but i, sure the dampers will suffer in the long term, time to start thinkin about a good aftermarket replacement

They'll be slightly stiffer but not a lot stiffer, very similar to the Pro kit to be honest.
