The pipe with the weld, like my car:

should be on the drives side of the bumper front

Does my guide not make sense to anyone:

???

Go a feeling I've got two pipes the wrong way round :( :ban:think I'll wait till got new bumper before changing it ;) lol and I got the dv pipe the wrong way round :( but can't see it make much difference tho tbh Just wish my phone didn't die coz I could found that fookin pic

Why wait until then, get it done now, it'll look miles better and hey, might even perform a little better with straighter air flow.

I'm reading your mods signature and I'm hoping the rest of it's fitted right. I'm just messing dude :p, modding is all a huge learning curve and you make mistakes. Snap up Mo's bumper or if you were planning on a facelift LC/LCR conversion, now could be a good time :).

The pipe marked in RED:

You have put this pipe on the driver's side front of the bumper, or the smaller 'L' shaped pipe, they should be on the hot side. as in the diagram, doesn't really matter which way around, they both reach.

Also the passenger side pipe is hanging too low! shockingly low!, it should NOT be visible from the bottom of your bumper:

Circled in red

I don't think you have routed it correctly mate, this would cause you major problems as it would scrape, hit the concrete and damage other components because it's all linked.

These uni intercoolers are starting to look very tacky I think, I don't like the look of being able to see loads of pipe hanging out the front bumper

it's fitted wrong, have a look at my readers ride thread, enough said.

Everyone's quick to jump on the 'forge' band-wagon, blah £600 blah, it's not worth spending £600 on a FMIC for K03S based LC / Car, been argued before many times.

I didn't say it had to be new :cartman:, I dobut it's £80 for a bumper anyway. Fully sprayed and colour matched?.

His going to buy my bumper, same colour, already cut out

If I'm honest I don't really care that I had to cut it all off at least it's in! And doing it's Job so can't ask for much more beside if I saw that behind me comng up quick I'd be all worked ;)

And yea it is road legal :p

it was the only way we could see the cooler fitting, i think one of the pipes is the wrong one now looking at the pics, the second of the thiner pipes also had a bend in it, it didnt fit as well the other way, it was a night mare!!!
if we can get the pipes routed corectly the grills will be able to ge back in with a little of the stick stuff so wont look bad at all!! if you actually liik at the bumper, non of the front has been cust just all the housing for the fogs really its just the ic pushes the bottom of his bumper down so we couldnt get the grills back in

so Pyro, what were you figures on the strip? gonna redo my fmic fitting soon, have got another crash bar and will try and mount mine higher so the piping is better routed. i thinks mines crap at the moment but thats another story!

I'm not saying buying a forge, I don't run a forge fmic, I have a Toyosports fmic with metal pipes. Looks just like the forge fmic and as neat plus works fine on stage 2 :) All I was saying was I don't like the look of the neatness, I've seen loads of uni fmic's on the LC alot neater :)

I managed 15.1 witch I thought was ok not brill but ok I could of got it down with my reactions ect but didn't have the time :( was fairly busy and there were loads of bikes :(

In relation to the neatnes it is only because we got a couple of pipes the wrong way round :( but I'll sort it all out soon enough

Mo can you get o pic od the DV and pipe please coz the only reason I didn't put the DV pipe that way around was coz it just didn't look like it would fit
I'm amazed that there was no instruction or anything from toyo was a bit strange IMO bit ahh well we all need to learn ;) at least we still managed to get it all in :D surely it takes some skill to put it in diffefereny to manufactures spec ;) :bleh:

for the DV (Charge pipe) i had to buy another silicon hose:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/25mm-1-135-de...40027526?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM

the reason for this is that the DV connector joint is NOT beaded and I used the standard DV hose, which I cut to fit which kept popping off.

Have a read of Kineticz thread (Page 18):

http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=183604&page=18

The end result:

I had to use a T-Bolt to secure this bit, however Kineticz and Greesha (who have the same set-up) never experienced this and worked fine with a standard jubilee clip, Greesha installed the DV charge pipe the wrong way around too at first but corrected it later.

Tbh,mine fits much much better, pipe hangs no lower than bumper and I kept my grills in,also meshed behind the honeycomb to hide the pipes better.
