I know Ive changed mine for silicone Tip now and re=checked the hoses...So im gonna go for a test drive in a minute..Then take if from there.

nothing i did it as a performance upgrade..which does work well when working

No need ive done it for a reason...Why would you thinks its the actuator Mork? Out of interest..

People have done it before & it didn't work...

Can't remember who or when, but on a regular turbo the 'right' actuator is the OE one

Took it for another Spin and It defo aint the tip so that Ruled that out...Now Could it be the actuator not being Full shut..

Should i try the Green Oem Spring? Instead of yellow 15psi one..

How many vac lines do k04's have on the actuator?

Mine did this when I had a leak on the line that goes in the side which fixed it when I blanked it off.

If it only has 1 line then this doesn't apply.

Oh, and you weren't lying about that SSQV!! It's like 1000db's lol. I got fault codes though when I fitted
it so going to make it re-circ now.

Unbolt the actuator from the bracket and refit the green spring with a few turns of tension.

Its was Instanly Fixed..had Low down Boost straigh away with uncontrollable torque Its peaking at 15psi so i does need tensioning abit more but Result!!!!

Its Pokie as **** low down.Once its Settle and at 24psi il wapp the 3'' tip back on and take it from there...

Im rather Cold though it -2 and ive just changed a actuator in the dark with a Camera phone flash light...Legend

Getting there....Actuator is near the end of the rod mind.tiny bit more to go then it should be sorted..

Refit the 3 inch tip first as this will flow better boost at red line. Don't over tighten the actuator as spiking will be a problem, 5-6psi will be adequate.

Im Near the end of the rod on the actuator and the gauge is sitting at 21psi atm needs abit ore turning but i might need a few shims for it...

Yeah il refit my tip 2morro morning then take it from there,.

How do you know that requested boost is calling for it though. You need to log block 115 /118 and post up.
