First coat today , went well. all the minor imperfections we knew about where shown better and I am prepping this layer down this week ready for next clean coat :)

wish i had a booth , round here the cost to spray ive been quoted 1600 + and thats even when I prepped it, so i thought id do a DIY job haha

Bloody hell, they obviously think your prepping isn't up to much. Getting mine done for £350 with me doing the prep! That includes the paint and spraying paint should be about £200.

I meant they quoted me that with the idea that Id prep it before they took over haha. thats cheap for a respray :O

Update , Done all 3 coats. 2 Clear coats to go on next then Ill do the bumpers to finish it off. So hoping to have it road worthy in 2 weeks :D.

then the modding begins .....

Ye I will , found a few fish eyes on the boot but luckly they wernt through more than one layer. Sanded em back. Laquer is going on once weather is a little better. just waiting for a better day.

noticed you also have completely stripped your car haha ... Im going for the "what you see" spray job type :p

Sorry bud didn't see your reply on here. Yes I have completely stripped it lol roll on Friday :)

Weathers improved.... 9c here , should be able to warm the tent and laquer next week if it stays like this :)

Weather is starting to warm up... so might be able to heat it up enough to get some nice coats of laquer on..... then its onto doing the bumper. Cant wait to actually drive it

Went in to check the car today , both sides of the car where soaked and the paint work has bubbled on both doors , luckly not all of the car has it , just these certain areas. keeping heating on 24/7 now
