How do you know that requested boost is calling for it though. You need to log block 115 /118 and post up.

the k04 map requests 24psi peak,so I've set it in 4Th at that but 2nd gear is 23psi or so.last night at the redline its was 20psi but I've changed the tip and it sits at 24 at the redline but I need to log it to make sure.but I've set it at what revo and awesome have told me

Hi Carl.

it is possible for a K04 to flow 23psi at the limiter with the 3'' tip fitted ?Before with the samco tip fitted it would hold 20psi at the limiter.....

Or is my gauge ****ed?
You'd have to vagcom it to confirm, but my concern with you danny is that your actuator may be so far wound in it may be almost fully shut, which would allow a stock k04 to make silly boost but for how long. When you physically push the wastegate open with the actuator set as is, is there still plenty of travel left in it or is it very little play.

Yeah its near the end of the rod...but the OEM Actuator Rod & forge one are different Lenghts id say up to around 1'' 1/2 difference...

Its working fine compared to that super stiff yellow one...

Drove it again hard tonight and its now sitting at 20-21psi near around 6krpm ish and holds that...''But'' Im now feeling abit more liflyness mid range with this 3'' tip fitted...or is it me?

Liflyness..... sorry mate i don't understand what you mean here.

I look forward to your logs Danny. your setup should equate to some very impressive results.

Decent tyres camber setup and some ARB's should make it handle better.

wouldn't expect to get grip till its nice again though danny no chance in wet and cold :D

Cars seems to be getting quicker now ever time I drive it,so the ecu is defo learning which is good.was out driving it tonight seems to make a weird noise when holding boost in 5 & 6 like my dc is opening and closings lots of times.but I was lucky as soon as I got in my coilpack on number one set on fire which prober melted it.so need a new coilpack now.

Hai,

i see you have stage 2 on you map ? but do you have the original turbo still on ? because u 'only' get 270bhp out of it ?

thats what some people get out of a stage 1 map right ?
