bit of a clean
bought some new sfs yellow hoses to fix the balls up i made with the FMIC and a yellow hose to join air filter.
3" cold air feed.
rocker cover to be powdercoated still.. (been saying this for months)
i been talking to a guy from a company called automark who reckons he worked alongside revo to write remaps. so getting booked in there for a bit of custom mapping. heard nothing but good things about him.

Someone has ran into the back of me
stood at some traffic lights and BOOM. pushed me about 2 car lengths. his first words where "why did you stop"
i mean come on red lights.. yellow car.. loud exhaust.. HOW DID YOU NOT STOP
anyway currently in a body shop getting:
rear bumper
tailgate
tailgate hinges
rear beam
rear panel and boot interior trims
no doubt the color match wil be all over

so in the mean time i have a nice passat R 140 tdi as a hire car which i have had a few weeks now
got a few bits waiting for it coming out the bodyshop anyway
this is going to sort my popping boost hose problem hopefully
it is to replace the hose from turbo to charge pipe

surprisd the car wasnt a write off tbh, lucky the insurance have decided its worth paying out for. can you not get the bodyshop to paint the whole of the car???
i'm loving the wheels, i prefer the 5 spoke comp mo's but these come a close 2nd.

Good news though !! Got a phone call at 1pm saying my cars finished.. Yet picked it up and it's a spot on job even the paint is a great match !!
I forgot how fast this thing was after 2 weeks haha was smiling from ear to ear when planting my foot.

thanks mate. Went to change the hose from turbo to charge pipe today and found a 3cm tear in the old one .. Unfortunately the hose I ordered was to small so will need to get another made up
good to hear you got the beast back mate, and that they have done a good job on the colour match!! would of been a massive shame if they had ballsed it up cos its a lovely car, just think of the mods you can buy when your claim comes through, think im gonna slam the anchors on on the 19 today lol
