Not sure if its a daft suggestion but you could always try getting some foam removed from your seats? thats what they do for small people on motorbikes anyway haha. im 6"5 aswell its a nightmare fitting in cars isnt it! :p

You guys going on calling your Formula Sport/FR/Cupra seats... oh please stop it, it's us with the horrible grey ones as found in 1.2s that really are hard done by!

Mine look horrific right now, so many stains on them, all from WATER that has come into the car through the doors and/or windows when open. Now apart from never opening your doors or windows there's nothing you can do to stop it.

I've never known seats that stain so badly, it's not like I'm pissing on them or anything!

I'd be happy just to get seats from a Sport model, anyone one know where there's a good condition set for sub £150?

^^^ this

totally sums up the situation for us little 1.2s people.

to stop the staining, give the seats a really good clean then seal with scotchguard fabric protector. Can be bought on ebay quite cheaply and should last a long time as well as it is used in carpets, sofas etc

Thanks for that, will look into getting some, I've heard 3M's products are pretty good so hopefully it will work for me.

Biggest difficulty is to get rid of the staining to begin with, I've tried using Meguiars Carpet & Upholstery cleaner but all that does is stain it as well  just cannot win with these crappy seats.

I use Autoglym interior shampoo and it works wonders! I keep m,eaning to scotch guard them once they're clean to stop them returning!

My TDI sport seats are pretty nice , black and yellow. Am I right in saying they are the same "seat" as the FR/cupra but just skinned in different material ?

To be honest, the Cupra seats in my 2005 Ibiza are a bit average... They look ok, but they're crap at holding you when you go around a corner fast. And with no centre compartment to lean on it is a bit of a questionable ride. I'd go for something a bit deeper, bucket-like. Will the Leon seats fit? They're much more grippy!
