its been sent out to a sepcialist to try repair it he said it was scrap

i cant find one for my car the ecu part number has to be exactly same as below:
6k0906019

That doesn't look like the full ecu number, you need more info as a lot of them are interchangable like mines a 038 906 018 EC which is a MSA15.7 and there's others from the same era that I can use in my car. You need the actual type I think rather than the part number and also a lot of them can be re flashed with the software for your car.:)

well i bought one today which was off a golf but supposedly the 906019 is the chips and hardware inside
so if thats same u can get it flashed to take ibiza software

ibiza mk3 cupra-r ?

6K0 906 032
6K0 906 032 AB
6K0 906 032 AA

these are ibiza ecu's
also 8L0 906 018 K is an equivalent early 210, 512k ecu's

regards
bill

definealty says 6ko906019

i got a ecu today with code 06a 906 019 bf will this work?

I think he's referring to a 1.6 sport model! 100bhp AAP engine iirc?

Have you looked at the polo saloon/estate models (6k chasis) I think they have a 1.6 8v engine that produces 100bhp! Could be same?

Waking up an old thread...but

How did that work out? Was it possible to make the 06A 906 019 run in the vehicle that had a 6K0 906 019 before? I'm really interested as the 6K0 version seems very rare as a used part while the 06A is pretty common.

Got one out a 1.6 8v golf mk4 took it to my local Volkswagen specialist MBA who
Copied it over to the golf ecu for 60 pounds

Nice one, I need to look at other ecu's if I want to tune my car because mine doesn't take a map and can't operate a vnt turbo.:)

Any chance you can put the mk4 golf ecu number up so people know what to search for?? Cheers!
