Have a search in the function near the top as it's been covered quite a few times.

Goodyear eagle f1 assy's have been good for me as has the oem pirelli p zero rosso's.

What's your budget and car type?

I Would never but p zero neros again 9000 miles is all i got, only super grippy for the first 4000 miles, before that kumho 39 no way as near as good as the p zeros, just stuck on falkens 912 good grip in dry and very good in wet compared to the p zeros and a softer ride and less noise, brought from camskill.....com contis are pretty good aswell.

I'd only buy Eagle F1 Asymmetrical (or 2, when released/available) or Continental Sport Contact 3 as a summer tyre.

got potenza on mine, came with them. they have been rubbish in the wet sliding all over the shop. going to swap the fronts for the backs and try Falken FK's, supposedly better for half the price...

I've got the Falken 432's on mine, don't like them at all, ok in dry, but feel very vague, and quite a bit of understeer in the wet. Gonna switch to either T-1R's or Eagle Assy's.

do you mean 452's? thats a shame i thought from the reviews they would be a good find, i need a cheap but good alternative now that Verdesteins have gotten crap (so im told, now been bought out by an indian firm)

This is true
Indian budget firm named apollo apparently not interested in the vredestein brand just the r&d facilities/experience that they have.

thats gutting, they were the best tyres i ever owned on my PD, miles better then PZero and £20 a pop cheaper! any suggestions on an alternative then?

ATM Vredestein is the same tyres its always been but i hear it "may" be shelved in future so if you like them get them again whilst you can (and if you can their stock is attrocious at the minute ,but seeing as theyve just had a price rise this month im sure the tyres will be coming through again ;) (rob dogs lol)

if steering is vague adjust tire pressure, the garages usually get it wrong as they usually just fill them up to a set pressure for the tyre size, not car weight and size.

look on places like tyrereview etc, and see what other people have thought, plus dont get mixed up with summer tyres and all season tyres, expensive summer tyres will always come worse off than moderate priced all season tyres in the wet.

Yeah, did mean 452, I really should stop typing with my elbows! Anyone used the Toyo T1R's in the past?

A mate at work had the T1R`s he loved um gripped in wet and dry conditions but are like the p-zeros in wear rate dont expect more than 14k with roatation of front to rears.

Not bad for £30 less per corner than the p-zeros

Got my Falken 452's from tyretraders.com a while ago, had very good prices at the time. I will need to replace them soon and will be sticking with Falkens, they are not the best out there, but they are very good tyres for the money!
