Changes in 1.4.10
============

* Fixed bug in MAP sensor readings for cars with barometric sensors. This will affect boost gauge accuracy and also MPG for mitsubishi vehicles in particular. I don’t have a Mitsubishi to test against so feedback would be appreciated!

* Support for Diesel MPG readings (beta – this may take a couple of attempts to get correct).

* Support for E85 fuel type(beta)

* Fix a problem with speech support causing a slowdown when starting the app

* AIDL interface (information and example app will be put into the wiki)

* Add a workaround for when you delete a display and sometimes a crash may happen (segfault in android libskia.so).

* Fix the missing track in the Map view.

* Fix bug in the new dashboard setting for some devices causing an intermittent blank screen

* Turbo Boost support (beta) for VW/Audi (or any vehicle that uses a MAF sensor)

* Added ‘send to back’ / ‘bring to front’ menu options for displays

* Fix bug in O2 1×2 not updating after fixing a bug in fuel trims

* Fix a bunch of quirks to do with activity state handling
Boost gauge doesn't seem to be working and I have the newest version downloaded today.

what was the fault code?

16686 and 16684

Torque is excellent as it has a lot of the codes stored internally so it said on the fault code list Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected and Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected.

Plus you can lookup directly from Torque if the number doesn't come up with anything meaningful:)

I had tools in the boot and was able to confirm myself that it was number 2 coilpack that'd failed:(

Just read through this thread and it all seems really interesting. I have an 04 Cupra T and want to use this for the boost gauge mainly. How accurate is the boost gauge now for a car like mine? Was reading through and understand its only just started working in petrol card since the last update?

Also how easy is it to plug in and set up the bluetooth adaptor? I don't know how to do most car things but would do it if I was following a guide. Do you have to remove any of the dash or anything?- am on my phone so harder to check the next properly at the moment.

Thanks a lot

The Bluetooth adaptor you'll have to buy plugs into the diagnostics port under the ashtray and then the phone goes where you want it to go, depending on the holder you get. No need to do anything to the dash.

Is that easy to do for a non-car person? How much are these plugs? Im guessing there is an easy guide somewhere on here? If someone could link me to it would be great, if not will search when on my computer tomorrow. Cheers

Turn on the bluetooth on your phone make sure the ignition is on and the bluetooth adapter is in the port, search for new bluetooth and pair with it.
My code was 1234.

Hey, a quick question guys. Was going to buy this:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WIRELESS-BLUE...726275626&po=&ps=63&clkid=8054123432186558186

I have an android phone so can download the Torque app. Ive found where to plug the blue tooth thing in by removing the cover. Do I need to do anything else for my MK1 Petrol Cupra? Will that fit straight into the car or do I need a cable to connect them up? Just making sure thats everything I need to connect it to the car rather than wait a week and then find I have to order something else

Thanks

Right - Received my Bluetooth dongle the other day.

I plug it into the Port and for a second the Power, OBD Rx/Tx and PC Rx/Tx lights flash. then the power light remains lit.

I paired it to the phone using the bluetooth menu (Code: 1234) and it says "paired but not connected" I then search for the bluetooth device using the torque app and it picks it up and pairs, but says "device not connected"

I reckon this is a problem with the phone bluetooth rather than the torque app.

does anyone have any advice as to how to get the dongle "connected"??

P.S. Running on HTC Hero still running Cupcake (1.5)

I installed mine today. I did all of this the same:

I plug it into the Port and for a second the Power, OBD Rx/Tx and PC Rx/Tx lights flash. then the power light remains lit.

I paired it to the phone using the bluetooth menu (Code: 1234) and it says "paired but not connected"

Then just opened the Torque app and it automatically connected to the bluetooth. Make sure the car is turned on for the readings to start.

If you tried all that try deleting it from your phones connected devices and start again

I had a very quick look at this after work, got much the same thing. Don't think my device has lights or such like but plugged it into the OBD port, powered the car on, scanned and paired with the phone but it's showing as "paired but not connected". Torque (paid version) sees the device but can't do anything with it... :(

EDIT - just did a quick google, found some suggestions - delete and re-pair the device, restart the phone, set phone to discoverable - note that each of those things are separate suggestions, one, some or all of them may help. I'll have a go tomorrow and post back results.
