nice car you found there m0rk and the trip looks great fun also think the mods you have done are good and not ott for a daily

LCR Twin intercoolers acquired, so I can keep the headlamp washer jets.

I'll need to procure a small number of silicons from Forge, and some jubilee's & probably a MAP tube, but it should help the cooling greatly (because frankly it's gash with the standard IC)

Does it have just one SMIC like the Ibiza FR then? Will be interesting to see how you route the pipes. I guess it has an intake manifold pointing to the drivers side then? Would an intake manifold from a TT or LCR bolt right on (facing the passengers side)? This would make routing the pipes easier I guess.

I've picked up an Ibiza Cupra Mk3 pipe that runs from the turbo to the NSF, so I retain the manifold.

So in effect the air will flow back to front compared to the LCR, but the intercoolers don't have directional fins so it won't matter.

No updates, car is going well though I've not driven it since I picked up the Ibiza 2 weeks ago

Just snapped this out the window & thought it looked nice

Boring update

1 years ticket procured. Needed a new CV joint again. I asked the garage to drop the oil & change the thermostat, but because the MOT place had been idiots they managed to jam the bonnet shut, which consumed most of the day.

Also bought some new brake discs which are replacing the worse for wear wobbly items on there now.

Just under two years I think.. nothing wrong with it at all - just Lorna needs something less low

New Leon is the order of the day :)

Is the for sale ad on yet?

Shame it's not a diesel - well shame for me - i might've been interested - however, i do know a guy looking for a 1.8T in that shape/style!

It will be very soon once I know a due date. I should have taken the pics on the weekend when it was all washed and waxxed, but it's really dusty down here & looks crapola!
