I could have told you that :p

It's either Nightbreakers or HIDs. To get a blue light you need the bulb to burn brighter (6000k). A blue tinted outer glass will slightly change the colour but greatly reduce visibility.

well why didnt you dear boy?! waste of £7...the orsam's are amazing when compared to these. Just emailed the seller to ask for a cheeky refund :). Want to get HID's at one stage but heard they are a pain in the arse to fit :/

quick question....my KN Panel filter seems like its making the car drink petrol, well i think its the panel filter - could it be this or something else? Im driving soooooooo carefully too :(

I'd say go down the Hid route, there are a few good wesites for buying and alot for instructions, as for the panel filter it shouldn't really effect the cars fuel consumption enough for you to notice, I would guess it was something else, not to sure what though, have you made sure the panel is flush and the rubber circle that comes out the airbox is correctly over the engine? Think it is the throttle body?? I'm no good with engines :p

Might have a knackered MAF sensor? Grab a vag-com cable off eBay and check for any codes. I only get 300 miles from a full tank. I only drive in urban areas, no motorways or long distance. Average journey is 5miles. I think that's 25-30mpg or something poor..

ah i get around 400miles from a full tank driving fairly hard...just seems to be drinking petrol after the KN upgrade

going to order a standard air filter as im sure its not helping my engine - was overtaken by my mates 1.2 fiat punto...which he said (and i agreed) was loads slower than mine before the new air filter. Hope the air filter is the problem...

is this the right filter? have asked the seller if it will fit but want a quicker response from you guys, i think it will fit as the measurements work out but want to be sure :)

If Your Being Overtaken By A Fiat Punto 1.2 There Is Definitely Something Wrong  I Wouldnt Say It Was Your Air Filter Then.. Create A Post In The MK4 Section See What Everyone Has To Say :)

And Wait Until A Response From Your MK4 Thread (If You Decide To Make One) Before Wasting More Money
