So being an avid fan of Meguiars, I decided to enter into the 10th year anniversary competition where they picked 10 cars to have a day at HQ, free stuff and a photo shoot and what do you know, they picked my LCR! So so chuffed and can't wait for the day.

Update:

In preparation for the Meguiars day, I have done a few extra bits to the car this weekend. Firstly, the Brembo's were in desperate need of a refurb so I tackled that:

Before:

I chipped away the loose laquer with a chisel then used some industrial wipes and flatted them back just to help key the laquer:

Then gave them a good 3-4 coats and was surprised at the results:

Then left for 24 hours. Very happy and a big improvement for little cost or effort:

I also wrapped the rear badges to match the front. Love dark badges!

Very nice mate. I've been contemplating doing my boot S and CUPRA badge in black for a while as I'm not keen on the shiney bling (thats best kept for the engine bay). Having seen yours darker its definately on my list to do.

Haha I doubt it. Already spending money on the Evo I don't own yet!! I do love the car but at the same time, I cant wait to get an Evo. One things for sure, whoever buys this will be getting a real good example. There's literally nothing wrong with it.

Myself and the car paid the guys at Meguiars a visit today. My car was one of 10 picked for the Meguiars UK 10th anniversary. We had a day at the factory with various seminars, our very own phot shoot, free stuff and more! Was a fantastic day and the car got a good response
