Nice list of goodies thereDid you fit the coilovers yourself aye?
Looking forward to a fresh set of Ultrac Sessantas myself too, current ones will probably be shot after the winter - how'd you find them in the snow?
good update, i also love how the inside of your car resembles more of a light aircraft at night rather than a car, looks ace![]()
I haven't used the Ultrac in Snow, but to be fair i am not expecting much, only winter tyres(or chains) can cope with snow IMO, they are awesome in the wet, they give got feedback, better then the Potenza PE050 i had before which didn't cope with the wet and had very poor feedback on corning.
I used them last winter, to be fair they were a lot better than I was expecting, I never got stuck once. That said, you're running about another 100bhp and the same again in lb/ft than my car tho so see how you goI looked at getting some winter tyres but I struggled to get anything half decent for less than about £600 for a set, bad times.
Sorry to hijack but this should help all.
I've just bought Nancang SV2 in 235-40-18 for my Audi A4.
These come highly recommended and were only £99.40 each delivered.
Anyway hope this turbo set up work without surge for you.
Awesome Robbie! Great updates there mate and very well done with the work you've done.
Really do love this car![]()
Cheers Willie, those tyres lookin interesting, pity us LCR boys can't put on sets of steel wheels for the bad weather, guess thats one of the prices you pay for Brembo's.
For a start I used to swap the tyres on my OEM wheels then I picked up a set of aftermarket alloys.Cheers Willie, those tyres lookin interesting, pity us LCR boys can't put on sets of steel wheels for the bad weather, guess thats one of the prices you pay for Brembo's
