Great work, really like the approach you're taking. You clearly have an eye for detail, there's something very rewarding about restoring a car to its former glory.

Keep up the good work. :)

Yup that's correct mate. Easy isn't it. So if you don't like it you can change back but I'm sure you won't ;)

cool cool :p and yeh nice and easy haha but thought i would check to make sure :p

tbh i cant tell if theres a difference :ban::lol:

i think im gunna order another pipe and connect it straihgt from the mani to the DV when i have some more free time etc :funk:
but right now its fine

TBH at first I wasn't sure there was any difference, except the DV makes a kind of whip-crack sort of noise when dumping from part throttle - from WOT and full boost it sounds the same. However when I changed it back to standard (cos I was worried that the noise was something bad) I do notice the car is slightly less responsive and the spool up seems a little laggier.

I may have some 4mm or 5mm red silicone long enough to go from the inlet mani straight to the DV mate, I'll have a look in the garage.

Was disappointed not to make the meet last weekend, was hoping to meet you and get a look at your car, impressed with the amount of work you've done, nice to see someone taking a car that needs some work and sorting it out :)

well i do think now that it is a bit more responsive but that mught just be in my mind , anyway im happy with doing it as long as nothing bad happens haha (which i guess shoudnt haha)

 ooo that would be awesome , im tempted to just join it all the way straight but didnt want to venture into taking the manifold off etc and i think i need jubbly clip for to attach to the mani.

Cheers buddy , i thought you were coming tbh but then saw you were away ?
im sure there will be another soon before winter(or i would like there to be ) but then again snow makes a some nice photos :p
