Ok been a little slack the last couple of days and have not touched the engine or car more to come tomorrow
Finally got around to stripping all the the pumps and manifolds of today so now its just the block
And this is what iv removed aircon and sai so far
Didn't manage to take the head of as I couldn't see how to get the chain of and didn't wanna just go at it with a rachet my haynes should be here tomorow so ill work it out then

So if I loosen the head bolts in sequence the head will.come of with out touching the chain and cams yea
Yes, remove the cam belt 1st though

I suppose you could cut it as you wont be reusing it.. It would be just as easy to undo the tensioner and it will just fall off.
But leave inlet and exhaust manifold on
Why Joe as iv already taken them both of ? James which one is the tensioner that I can undo
I removed the hydraulic damper first to slacken off the belt. I removed the other tensioner after the belt was off
the one with the little roller about an inch in diameter (and the hydraulic damper lol) , its held on by 3 bolts iirc
