Nice update, just fitted the B5 80mm induction kit to mine... sound great dont they Cant believe how much better it feels.
I've also considered getting the new Forge 008 DV, after fitting the B5 TIP i feel it sometimes struggles to keep up with everything else. It had its hand full as i've been giving it some stick, it feels like the weak link. Mine is also a few years old (5+) so it certainly seen better days.
My heat shield doesnt seem to fit properly, almost as if its been bent incorrectly. The fixing hole on the battery side fit fine, its the other side which doenst fit properly. It lines up but the tag is about 30mm too high.

ah i see , well mine feels so much better with everything added but as i said before i thought something might have been wrong with the old 007 that was fitted (couldnt tell you how long its been on but does look like its past its time).
ah right thats no good , well least its not major could get something to space it (im guessing that what ya did?) , mine seemed pretty spot on tbh , i did need a slight jiggle to get them to line up but nothing major, i could measure mine from the top to see how much its bent ? and compare it to yours
yes much better! , feels better , dumps better , holds better , thats in the comparrison to my old one of course , couldnt tell you how much better overall it is to the 007 (in good cond)
PS. Also put the yellow Spring into the DV

btw i read that your 008 didnt like having the n249 bypass?? what kind of sound or what was happening ? , vaguley think you said it was kind of a fluttering sound... but tbh dont know what ya mean by that....
ps. needs to be a meet soon , mainly so everyone can check ive done everything right XD haha

Yeah it's on here mate, same stuff as ccuk though (Clicky in my sig). Your car does look a hell of a lot better than you got it, it didn't look in the best (Nor the worst) condition but you've certainly changed that!

yeh it was well , just minky but yeh after winter im gunna strip the car out and get all the bits that cant be seen clean.... just cause i need to know its completly clean everywhere haha , so after winter its got pretty big plans , more cosmetic and general fixing up

It's not a fluttering sound I get, it's a bit like a whip-crack sort of noise, only going from part boost/throttle to closed (i.e. it's fine from WOT to closed). It's also not just on the 008, my old 007 does it too. I guess the dump noise will be different with the bypass, guess that's just it.
