Yeah that's Revo stage 1 with the linear throttle map.

TBH chasing BHP figures is a bit pointless really, you only even feel peak BHP near the redline. Torque is what makes the car feel fast. I'd happily sacrifice 10bhp in exchange for 10lb/ft any day.

Im not chasing big BHP figures but i dont want torque anywhere near 300 because that is where rods get bent 270 torque is good for me, i have seen other people results pushing 310 torques from stage one, i dont want that id be scared to drive it hard

Fair enough, maybe jumped the gun a bit, sorry.

You'd be ok up to about 290 - 300 on stock internals though, good number of LCRs on here running that for a long time now. Treat the car with care, obvious stuff like stay off boost until warmed up, don't floor it in low gears (boost spikes can damage rods), that sort of thing.
 
Anyone else get a fluttering sound when coming on boost, at or close to WOT? My N249 is bypassed if that makes any odds.
 
Ye they are forged as standard but 300ft/lb of torque is a lot to handle, trouble is while they are forged they are not "H" section which gives other forged rods there regidity.
 
LCR rods are no different to agu's. Still 20mm pin, and not forged. Also depends on the rollers.. Mine apparently rolled 304lb/ft at p-torque. Ran it at badger5 and it was 240 odd.

Very few stage 2 cars break 300lbft here
those that do are punching big boost spikes >25psi
