I have just gotten off the phone to DVLA so here is what they have told me.
VIC - check is not a legal requirement and if i am keeping the vehcile myself i only have to get this done if my insurer wont give me valid insurance without it.
MOT - if valid mot was on the car and it is in road condition i shouldnt need to MOT again until it is due.
LOG BOOK - i do not need to apply for a new one as i have one in my possession, but a new one with change of adress or keeper will show the CAT C.
Tax - my old tax can be repringted and put back onto the car (wish id known this before i sent it away
)
if this is all correct and my insurance isnt a pain then it will be simple
but when does that ever happen.
I will still probably get a vic check done even if i can put it on the road without because then it will remove the marker and show that it has been checked. try and keep everything legit and honest hopefully if i sell in the future this will
help. although i plan to keep it for a long time
thanks all
