Well.. A week on Friday I'll be going to Basingstoke in the Meg. I wondwr if I'll get down in one tank.. What do you all think?

I'm back! Pleasantly surprised by the Meg.. it was really comfy the whole weekend, and the bonus of nearly 480 miles to a tank made that even better!

Just the colour to decide on, did you find prices vary enourmously for very similar cars? Found an 07 met black lux pack f1 with 46k miles for £6,500 and then higher milers are up for £8,00+!

Buyers market I guess!

Nope, still no issues Josh I'd recommend it, it's the best car I've owned yet! Yeah the prices seemed to vary quite alot when I got mine too, suppose like anything though, theres bargains to be had out there! If your buying from a garage, try either make sure its had the timing belt changed, or get that in with the deal... it'll be due on a 57 plate now.

Sure is mate! Don't normally park there but have had to a few days.

Yeah mate, still puts a smile on my face everytime I get in it! I love it, much better than my Ibiza imo - Although provably a few would disagree because "It's French".

Cool, just hadnt seen your car in a while. What kinda mpg do you get? I changed jobs so get paid more now and bought a petrol car, golf edition 30, love petrol, so much nicer. I'm in rutherglen now, so much better for less traffic!

Yeah I'm still up and down to Manchester, so you might not see it as often. I'm getting about 35mpg on the motorway and about 22mpg round town!

Nice, just doing the same thing? Yeah petrol is nicer to drive imo, still much prefer the Megane to my FR. How's the Golf?

Aye just same job, but very different to last company.

Actual mpg? That's not bad on the motorway, do you stick to 60mpg or that?

Aye golfs good, quick, especially compared to the BMW. I wouldn't have bought a golf if it wasn't the edition model. It's got more power and better turbo than standard gti, so stage one map makes 300hp there's some pics on my old Ibiza rr....
