Hi mate. Probably dog bone bush. Always been put off with stories of cabin vibration.
This car is my daily drive so need it to be nice and smooth.

Also going to put together a heat shield. Want a foam type set up like the ITG.

ok so the 40mpg was a one off!! I think the car was adapting in some way to the new software. MPG is pretty much same as previous stg 1 remap.

Nice golf. I went the other way lol, sold the golf and bought my LCR back.

A non res miltek or even better a neuspeed exhaust system is the first thing to mod on these followed closely by springs/coilovers as they sit high as standard. I had the miltek on mine along with Apex springs but it was still to high. The main reason I sold mine was the raping I took when I came to tax it. Tell me your one of the lucky ones and got a pre march 06 model???

Tax is steep at £405. It sounds horrific when you say £405.

Seems less painful to look at it as £135 more than the LCR. Putting £10 per month away for a year covers the additional cost.

Would love to lower it as some point. An thinking AP coilovers plus 19" RS6 (new style) alloys in silver.
