So just over a day with the milltek and here are my observations thus far

Nice deep note under the soundaktor, makes the noise in the cabin much more realistic instead of the fake tinny sound the soundaktor produces.

Better throttle response low down, seems the less back pressure (even though its only a little bit) has given some advantage.

Epic sound through tunnels (took a 10 minute detour yesterday evening to hit a couple)

I little bit if popping on deceleration when held in gear, although no DSG fart as of yet :(

Next up is a 200 cell sports cat (probably going for magnaflow) speaking to my exhaust guy on Friday to discuss where to go with it and weigh up the advantages of possibly going for a large bore downpipe.

Then the inter cooler saving begins :)

LED interior lights done this evening :) bought the wrong size for the middle one so had to bend the pins in, oops!
Much brighter than they look in the picture, map lights are 17 LED beasts!
And centre light is an 8 LED error free

cheers for coming to my rescue and "fixing" my car tonight after i "broke down" lawrie!

shame the nazi security guards were out in force.

but in all seriousness, thanks for fitting the spacer, had great fun playing with it on the way home, A LOT louder than i was expecting, great bit of chatter from the turbo.

would've liked to have spoke to you more tonight, fancied a swatch at your itg induction kit, but there's always next time :)

No problem mate :) wouldn't have managed it without Carl's mini ratchet though lol! Kept meaning to open the bonnet but never got round to it for some reason! Next meet definitely, if its a bit less cold at the next one I can do a drive by so you can hear the exhaust as well

could you send me the guide on how to change out the rear lights for the facelift ones lawrie?

can remember driving behind you that sunday night and thinking to myself "there's something different about the back of his car"

only realised when i got home they were facelift lights haha!

Nothing in particular mate, new company I'm going to will he supplying me with my own van so that means the insurance and running costs are down and I would possibly not feel so bad about sticking some coilovers on :p

Only thing I have on my list as a definite just now is the milltek sports cat :)
