My bulb holders have a rubber boot around them once bulbholder is in boot goes over the lamp base and cable tie round boot to hold it to holder

ah right i kinda get ya, mine have got a rubber O ring around the base of the holder. what you mean is drill out the reapeater a bit so the holder fits in then put the o ring around the reapeater base??

I think yours & mine (Platinum) is just S7U when ordering paint. That's the code I ordered but it's a little darker than my paint due to 9 years of fading!
