insurance costs

hi all ,i was just wondering what people are paying for there insurance , i got my quote through this week and it's £560 for a 2012 supercopa including protected no claims ,breakdown and legal .how does this compare with anyone else?

Age, postcode etc will effect the price so it's very difficult to compare with others

Well in June when my renewal is due my 2009 FR FL is £948 and I will be 22 and two years no claim however on a 12 plate £18k supercopa it's £800 Wierd!

yeah that is a bit odd , i am 36 i have 10 years no claims it just seems a lot to me .

ohh and there is the matter of a small ban from sept 2009 but that shouldn't make much difference now

Hmm alot of factors go into it. Search on Internet for insurance post code areas, shows you which rating your area is and is very interesting. I know a guy who is 19 has 1 year no claims and drive a Astra VXR and pays £650 just because he's in a A rates area. It's madness.

think ill do that i live in wakefield so would be interested to see how bad it is , lol.

just looked up the postcodes for insurance and there rated A to F , A being the best guess what letter my postcode is ,E , i think i need to move house

I was 350 fully comp for my Cupra R, but now I have just been quoted 650 with all my stage 2+ mods including the remap, suspension, induction kit and full exhaust with sports cat.!!
Dont think that thats too bad like!!

I'm 25, 7 years no claims, and I'm paying £730 for my fr tdi. Personally I think it's a lot but its the cheapest I could find

That's with sky insurance! The other fellas advertised as modified insurers won't insure any remap over 100 bhp!! And that's with 14 years ncb, I know only 9 count!!
