I thought where the moving parts are around the mirror stalk /base it could rub perhaps and look **** quickly. Out of interest how much did you pay? Iv had a quote for £180 for all 4 vat included, is that reasonable value?

All 4?? surely 2 haha well like i said cos i work here i get it for free and did them myself, but they do take an insane amount of time to do properly so i should think thats about right

Had at minor service at raymonds garage (seat dealer) with brake fluid changed & a brand new handbrake cable, as mine seized 101,082miles.
I would love to help mate but I haven't really got the time it took me over 3 weeks to get my wheels done as I do the work at my parents house which is a 20 min drive from where I live so I have to fit doing the work in when I can. Plus the weather is getting bad now which isnt good for spraying as I do the spraying outside as I almost killed myself with paint fumes doing it in the garage with the doors shut even with an air feed mask lol.
Ironically it's the rain that is stopping me from fitting them! Maybe tomorrow! Off to get my sleeve finished shortly so modifying myself!

Parked it at work before going overseas for 6 weeks. This time I've remembered to leave it in gear with the park brake off! It was a bit embarrassing dragging a seized rear wheel across the carpark...
