yes they are about , plus can always buy insurance write offs , unless my father and uncle has closed their account down

getting fooked off with mine now bought a new wheel speed sensor £68 !!!!, left car for 1/2 day to watch the rugby and now back on ,, slowly grinding me down to px it for a T5 i think
also need to buy injector seals and stretch bolts and book it in for the injector & tandem pump swap , might get out of the petrol boys mpg area then
will have to pop over mine or yours one night too

not been up to much with the leon recently
It has just had a fair amount of brake work - front and rear pads, handbrake cables and freeing drivers side rear caliper.

Quick Update
Car now has 180 000 miles and needed a pair of front wheel bearing and track rods, also just replaced engine speed seosor/ Crank position sensor and fitted a towbar!!!!

Just spent last few days reading entire thread. Great bit of reading having iust bought a red tdi 150 myself. Look forward to putting some miles on her ;-)
