5 minute jobs

I've got a trip to AMD tomorrow suspension, cambelt, service and most importantly an APR Map.

Now over the past few weeks in preperation I have accumulated a new N75, MAF, Coilpacks and SFS Upper Boost hoses in preperation but just haven't had the time to fit them.

I was thinking if I get down there early enough (also bonus of missing the Queues at the Blackwall tunnel or Dartford Bridge) say 7 will an hour to get these done be enough and is there anything I should know or special tools I need to fit them all (and save £100 in labour).

I do know one end of a spanner from another but not having done the N75 or coilpacks before I just didn't want to get caught out.

All these things can be done yourself.

N75
-Unclip the wire
-Loosen the one time jubilee clips
-Reattach the hoses with new clips and attach the wire exactly the same
-Stick in TIP

MAF
-Unclip the wire
-Undo the jubilee clip for TIP
-Unscrew (2x) the MAF and pull it out
-Reverse order

Upperboost hoses
-Undo the jubilee clips
-Remove hoses
-Reverse order

Coilpacks
-Undo wires
-Pull out coilpacks
-Reverse order

All very straightforward. Dont be afraid and just work it, you can certainly find DIY videos on Youtube if you are uncertain.

For the N75 clamps, I found it was just easier to cut them off with tin snips and refit new ones

Nice I'm down there early doors but as the car is going to be most of the day I've booked a bit of Private tuition with my Krav Maga Instructor @ 11am in London Bridge.

What time you getting down? What you getting done?

One thing, Upper boost hoses are the standard Jubilees strong enough??

Oh nice, may have left by then which is a shame as I'd like to hear the Cobra.

good luck with the car mate,had my cobra cat back fitted mid week at hayes engineering,erith. wouldnt say it was especially loud been used to v6 rumble! better than standard tho.

hi mate they charged me £50 it was dependant on how easy it was for the old one to come off.
