Bonus!

Insurance on the incoming Cupra 280 is £30 a year less than the Mk2 LCR it replaces. :D

Once I deduct the £15 "processing fee" for the privilege of changing my insurance details, and allow for 11/12 of the balance as my renewal is at the start of April, that gives me nearly £12 to blow on coke and the company of naughty ladies.

Bugger ours has gone up by £33 a year changing from an Abarth 500 to a Cupra. These cars are expensive to run.............

Hi All, umming and erring whether to place my order tomorrow. One of the options I've seen that I'm interested in to make my cupra unique is the "Cupra black line pack" that seat are offering as a factory fit option. The dealer doesn't seem to be able to give me any photos or a good idea of what the parts will look like, so just trying to get some opinions from anyone else that has ordered it.

Incase you have never heard of it this is what the "official" description says:
"Includes 19" Cupra alloy wheels with black accents, gloss black door mirrors, black Cupra tailgate lettering, gloss black front grille surround and black rear side spoilers."

Any ideas on what the black rear side spoilers means? I don't want some ugly side vents on the side of the read bumper like was on the mk2 body kit, just my opinion of course.

What I dont get is it already comes with Black front grill surround and gloss black mirrors not that you notice it on ours.

Yeh thats what I thought so I've been trying to find out what the other items look like so I can tell whether its worth it. It's a £500 option .

Doesn't sound like a lot for the money? Cupras already have the gloss black mirrors and grille surround, so you'll be paying 500 notes for "black accents" on wheels, black letters on tailgate (which Syphon has already done) and black rear side spoilers. Seems steep to me, though I have no idea what rear side spoilers are.

I have delayed putting an order in as I cannot make my mind up which exact spec I want. Also I noticed the Cupra Black/White pack on CarWow, nothing on the Seat UK site though. The quote I did through CarWow included this so I am waiting for the dealer to contact me to discuss so I will ask more about this and will let you know. But as has been mentioned not sure exactly what you get for your cash.

The blackline are currently starting buildweek 26. Thats the info i got here in sweden. The cost for black line pack is about 200 pounds here so i went for it.

So I have decided to drop the black line pack based on lack of info and it being too darn expensive, just come back from taking the plunge and confirmed my order. Final Details:

Cupra 280 DSG 5dr
Monsoon Grey
Seat Sound Pack
Leather Pack (including winter pack) All black option.

Discounted around £3600 off the price, but did feel a bit lacking on my part ex :(.

Nice spec car mate. Very similar to mine.

If you go onto Google images and search there are loads of pictures of the interior and none of the black leather ones have the cupra logo on the seats, so I would wager the answer is NO!

I don't think it does! the demo I drove had the all black leather interior and it didn't have the Cupra logo on the seats. All the pictures I have seen of the black leather interior have not had the logo on either.

Great thanks for clarifying Moonhead! If you run the seat.co.uk constructor the lettering vanishes when you select black/black. Not keen on the white stripes but like the Cupra letters :)

It does include it according to SEAT's offical options list, I'll scan it in when I get home. Don't trust on the online configurator, it suggests the parking sensors are an option for the 280, which they obviously aren't as they are standard!

This photo is from the UK brochure. It's hard to make out but if you zoom in you can see it.
