My insurance is actually cheaper, having just run a quote.
I pay for servicing anyway now, but it i was to change it I may just service it myself and run the car to the ground.
Tax may be slightly more.
I know what people are saying though, its just food for thought at the minute, obviously I'd have to do proper research into it and ensure I got the right car.
Another thing that will continue to irritate me for a very long time now is the wheel bearing. It makes a noise and vibrates, and I know its there, but the recommendations I have is that its no where near bad enough to change.
I changed mine 2 weeks after I started to hear it. Could hardly hear it when I changed it. The thing it will just get worse as worse an hopefully won't completely fail on you. You do a lot of mileage to becareful. It's only a £80 part so I would get it changed.

With what money?
I work part time for my dad's company along with delivery driving for the local take away. I don't earn enough money to pay him back at the minute. Come September I'm back in uni again!
Ultimately I'm probably gonna have to just fix what's wrong with it (bodywork and wheel bearing) and keep it. Maybe a cheeky remap too.
Seen this though - looks smart. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201405144208154?atmobcid=soc4
Surely if you are struggling for money this wouldn't be an option lol
Maybe money that could be used to pay your old man back![]()

money clearly not an issue, must be a nice position to be in, you're very lucky.I've just been discussing with him and he's said it doesn't really matter about the money, just pay it back whenever!

Won't the remap increase insurance though? And if you use your motor for delivering takeaways you need to get business use as well .......
Remap declared and insurance is business already![]()
