So yesterday I attempted to wrap my rear badge whilst it was still on the car.....I failed miserably.

Today I removed the badge and tryed again.
This attempt was much better in my opinion

Job for tomorrow is to Debadge the "Leon" badges

Thought about this but reckon it would be horrendous to do lol was bad enough doing the badge! Might take them off , try it and see how it goes :-/ will need to get some sticky pads

How hard was it to get the badge off mate.

Really easy mate, remove the 2 torx screws on the boot panel, then just pull it off, it feels like your going to break it but It should just pop off. Then you remove the 3 10mm nuts on the back of the badge. Squeeze the black locking lugs together and the badge assembley will pull out.

You will then have this....

There's a pin going through that you need to knock out so that the handle is separate from the casing.

I've seen people before remove the chrome badge from the handle but I couldn't get it off and didn't want to break it so I just vinyled the whole handle itself.

Took no more than 30 mins from start to finish

Felt quicker than the gti that we test drove before tho

I've got to admit my mates R32 with milltek cat back sounds soooo nice.

Definitely one of the better sounding cars there is.

I live how my cupra sounds now with the milltek cupra R system, the cobra I had before sounded like a big bore backbox on a corsa 1.0 lol
