Hi Jimrod,
I'll be honest and say I was disappointed with the MPG from my Sport Tech 170 but basically my missus drives the car about 16 miles each way every day with it being mainly 60mph roads and a short run on the dual carriage way and she manages to get 55mpg.
Driven on the motorway for long distances at 70mph you well get high 40s driven at 80mph you will get low fourties, driven at 90mph it goes back up a bit to mid to high 40s...don't know why it's just what I've found out, owned mine for a year next month.
Tbh with you, it's a very good car, great to drive, nice to be in and I do like the power of the newer CR 170 engines (in the facelift ones as mine is) and the reliability that comes with them.
You can get them mapped for better MPG but I'm happy with mine the way it is.
Also something to note, on long duration services before it's first
service at 19,000 miles we were struggling to get high 30s we were really annoyed, after it's
service is when we started to see into the 50s, needless to say it's serviced every year now and is due one soon.
