What did you and your MK2 do today?

Some of the responses here make me bang my head against the wall. Hazard lights are to warn of hazards. A wall of traffic or very hard braking are both hazards

My oppinion must be a little different of hazard lights to everyone else i understand the purpose of them but if people look ahead at the road ahead and see brake lights from all the cars or even just a few this is a sign of people slowing or stopping.
I wouldnt expect people stopped in front of me to use hazards to make me aware of this my attention to whats going on ahead and around me makes that obvious I guess thats my naive oppinion though and probably expecting a little too much from people on the road whos attention is quite possible else where.
I am refering to motorway driving when i mention the use of hazards and slwoing to a stop.

So, if you're involved in an accident on the motorway would you consider it reasonable to use your hazards lights? I would think that'd be a good idea, don't you? [B)]

Today me and my Leon got laughed at by work mates.

Backstory need I guess - I tried to strip the previous owners spray paint off the wheels yesterday, which didn't go exactly to plan.
Having to get them powder coated at the end of the week now. Gun Metal Grey I'm going to go for (Black Leon). I would post pictures but still haven't got my post count.

Anyone in Yorkshire ever used Midas Touch?
A few people at work recommended so I'm giving them a go.

Well the clutch decide it'd had enough last night, slipping and smelling very badly indeed. Struggle to get going now and think its only a matter of miles before it goes completely. Need to get it done asap now :(

Well of course in that case it would be a viable reason as the vehicle wouldn't be moving for a while if it's Broken.
But as a warning to say I'm slowing to a stop no :)

So if the car in front of you has had an accident and you have to stop as a result, would it not be sensible to use hazards then?

If everyone who's affected by the accident and has to slow down or stop uses their hazards to warn the guy behind, then it's all a help for road safety overall.

Today I drove my car and left sensible stopping distances between myself and the car in front in case of emergency as always

I rewired the hazards to come on whenever I brake, just in case people behind me forget what illuminated brake lights mean.

Sprayed my hubs silver and my disc guards satin black as they looked really shabby, also gave my wheels a good clean and sealing whilst they were off the car. Sorry, I forgot to take anypictures!

Scanned the car and had error code 01334. Couldnt find anything on Ross Tech's site as it doesnt list the code. Anyone seen this error code before, it is related to the right rear door.
