Well got it fitted and first map was 1+1 not tried anything else yet. Definitely feel the difference, had a bit of hesitation once or twice though although not regularly enough to put it down to the crd3+ love it so far. Gonna try map 2 in a few days.
Quick question where's everyone putting their box? I've put mine on top of the battery under the cover?
I probably wouldn't put it on top of the battery. Mine is slotted in between the battery and the air box.

Same here also, I tried multiple locations and this is the best place I decided.
I've removed by DTUK box for now though as I go in for a service soon. It's worth noting that the box did create some soft codes (I had a diagnostic ran on the car after the system was taken out).
The first code was for the boost pressure sensor and I believe the other code was for the rail pressure sensor. This means that if you have a service/MOT, you'll want to clear these codes before taking the car in as I'm fairly sure the dealers are smart enough to know that error codes in these areas heavily point towards a tuning system.

I think it's because you unplug the boost sensor and it probably just disturbs it, like you said, it is just a stored error and isn't pending so is easily cleared and then once a rescan is run, no errors come upI always remove it for any warranty work. They can't blame the codes on something they haven't seen lol
These codes can also be triggered if the ecu is still powered up if you remove the plugs too quickly before it has time to power down

Interesting, I wonder why it caused soft codes to be thrown?? Since I've fitted it I've been having more of the hesitation that plagues some of our leons, around 2000rpm a sudden loss of power for half a second if that, and there is some talk on another post about it potentially being linked to a faulty sensor in the engine bay (forgotten which one).
I'm running 1+1 at the minute. Switched to 2+1 for tomorrows commute!
If you open a door or the bonnet, even if the ignition has been switched off for several hours, the engine management system wakes up (powers up) for a few minutes incase you are about to start the car, it's one step ahead!
Best thing to do is open the bonnet and leave it for 5 minutes before disconnecting anything. (Don't open anything in the meantime)
Just out of interest, what fault code has anyone seen?
