I get that and I’m no car manufacturer expert, but I don’t believe that a process driven business as the car industry is working completely in the dark. Every manufacturer is doing what they can in terms of component deliveries and there is some kind of order in which they receive the parts. What I mean is that their customers are frustrated and they should do their outmost updating them. I’m not saying that they intentionally keep us in the dark since that doesn’t benefit their business at all.
There might be other things such as capacity, surprise of demand and so on which can also affect deliveries.
There’s room for improvements, don’t you think?
I agree totally ,these large companies must be in the loop when they can expect deliveries approximately that's for sure. Its not rocket science to say we have x orders and need x chips for those orders ,,,,,,,

really wish i had not sold the M240i ......had a look there is nothing about its really bad...looked at used but what there is dealers are asking ridiculous money...
There seemed to be a couple of M235i four door deals kicking about this week, for similar money to my VZ2 deal. Circa £340 a month 9 months down on 10k a year. Would you consider a return to the Roundel?

Had an m140i previous to this and apart from the engine,I hated it.

The m135i and 128 ti are much more rounded cars but not suv,s,so no good to me.

I'll wait personally.

Yes loving the look of the new M240i when its released, still got that lovely B58 motor and now x drive that will be a beast when mapped as well about 380 bhp stock I think. if I managed a verified 3.89 0-60 in my rear wheel version im sure this will be at least as quick. Been watching some pre release videos of it.
and I would not go with the 235i I hate the look of it and don't like the idea of the 2.0 litre instead of the 6 pot.i will wait for the new beastie to be released....it looks stunning.

My buddy had the M140 great engine but the chassis was poor even compared to the 240i.......which without a doubt was the best car I ever owned....

I can see from our system here, your vehicle is in transit from the factory.

Hope she's right: this happened to me with our Leon. Dealer phoned to say he'd checked the build number with SEAT to be told "its on the way from the factory", only to phone back 3 hours later to say "erm, sorry but the system is wrong, it's not been built yet...":(

i placed the order on the 12th of may ,all i can say i think they had a few booked in for build but i am not too sure tbh.
i was given a date for early October but if all goes smoothly it should be early next month.
Cheers! I ordered a couple of weeks after you and was told delivery Oct 30th. Fingers crossed.
