I wouldn't of thought soAny advantage on using Vagsport coils vs standard coils?
It’s not all the time. Every now n then during idling the engine will judder and revs drop slightly, then back to standard idle revs n no judder.I wouldn't of thought so
If you use something like Carista to read the fault codes. Hopefully shows which cyclinder has the missfire. Then just change that ignition coil.
I'm assuming your spark plugs are good as you say you have recently had them changed
So camshaft position sensor seems to be the issue
So you have 2 errors. Exhaust flap motor and camshaft position sensor. These same codes reappear. Tried clearing the codes a couple of times.
As it is an intermittent fault, first I would pull the connector off and 'give it a wiggle' and push firmly back on so you hear it click - just to double check the connector.
I have cleaned the old one n it looks fine. I’ll keep it just in case.Probably a quick clean and it would of been okay.
However nice new one should hopefully run sweet now
Does it do this on a cold start?Engine juddering on n off during idle, and revs dropping slightly during juddering. Any idea what this could be? Had a service at Seat about 6 months ago, so sparks plugs, filters etc. replaced then.
Both, on cold start and warm start.Does it do this on a cold start?
Have you tried replacing the MAP sensor? This can cause juddering. It’s a common fault with the 280sBoth, on cold start and warm start.
No. I haven’t had any fault codes relating to the MAP sensorHave you tried replacing the MAP sensor? This can cause juddering. It’s a common fault with the 280s
