Hi guys, i'm welcoming myself to the community with my first post on the site after a little while lurking in the background.
To the point, I'm considering upgrading my 2017, 2.0 TDI Leon FR. It is currently running a stage 1 remap from Celtic Tuning for the last ~12 months, and I've been really happy with the performance gains I've seen in the car.
It has not been dyno'd, the estimated power is currently running @ 220BHP and 332 lb/ft of torque. I'd like to understand if it's possible to push the car up to ~300 bhp / 400+ lb/ft of torque?
Does anyone have any experience, or threads they can point me toward, so I can gather more information on this? It's being serviced by a friend tomorrow who I'm hoping can help me with this conversation, but I'm a little concerned about pushing new components and more power in without any working knowledge on how this might impact reliability / the cost of the upgrades. I do understand the car will need to be re-remapped if I am to go this route.
Another option would be to sell up and just buy a cupra 300 (I cannot tell you how much I regret not starting with the cupra 300 - but I love my Leon FR entirely, such an awesome car) - but if it's achievable to generate this level of power without ££££££££££££££ invested it's an option I'd like to consider.
I do apologise if this is a lazy question - I'm trawling through threads, forums and videos trying to find info but I thought I'd introduce myself and ask the Q while I look.
Thanks in advance!
