01222 Leon Crash Sensor Fault - Help Pls

Morning all and I apologise if this has previously been covered but I need some technical help.
I have a 2005 ARL (FR) with a SRS fault. The passengers footwell got wet from a door sill leak and it has drowned the crash sensor.
I ordered a new one off eBay, not knowing that they were coded. Needless to say it faulted again with ’Incompatible Sensor‘ or words to that effect.
I found another on eBay with the same first digit ’1‘ as I had before, photos attached, but this doesn't work either. This time the fault was 01222 ‘No Adjustment or Incorrect Adjustment‘. I gather that this can sometimes be the loom, so I have swapped it out with the known good drivers side and the fault moves, so it’s definitely the sensor.
Does anyone have for sale an original sensor for this vehicle ‘19050911’ or one that will work as I need to get an MOT and this will stop that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many people fail on these when buying replacements as they often buy them going by the part number on it.
The problem is that many other VAG vehicles also use the same part but they're not coded the same from the factory meaning a used replacement one has to come from a mk1 Leon, not even one from a mk4 Golf will work for example.
So to answer your question, yes it should work as I only break mk1 Leon's.

I agree with Thai,it's down to the coding not the serial number. Any mk1 sensor should be fine.

You must use the sealant shown there, anything like silicon will fail.
