1.4 FR Coolant change

I've got a 2018 1.4 FR CZCA on 55,000 miles and the coolant has never been changed G13

I was thinking of doing this myself but wondered if I need the Coolant system charge kit for this engine or can the coolant be changed without one and no air locks?

According to the brand, it is not necessary to change the coolant unless contaminated.

Thanks for that. I checked it with a cheap coolant tester and it said it was okay down to -20 but I thought it should be stronger than that. Plus I didn't want the heater matrix blocked with gunk. Maybe I'm over thinking it

The heater matrix will only block up if your silicat bag will rupture. I removed the bag and went over to G12 EVO coolant. Please note that coolant is not a lifetime fluid and its good advise to renew it every couple of years
