Couple of shots from TUNERFEST (north) @ Oulton Park today....
Data logged a 5th gear pull on the way upto Oulton and made 732 Kg/h mass flow, quik 'mafs' makes that 203 g/s (254hp) going off the basic calculations ??
Going to hopefully back this up with a dyno graph near the end of the year
Try as you might to book a cold dry december day with loads of oxygen rich dense high pressure air for some power runs on the dyno....and what does the world deal me instead?.....
A wet average day with 102% humidity and very low presure.... in short a complete power killer .
My aim was to back up my air mass flow logs of 735kg/h converted is 204 G/S ÷ 0.8 = 255hp, estimated.
However conditions today just killed it off, though I came away with some consistently good looking power/torque curves the figures were lacking
236hp/248ftlb
On a dry high pressure day this would pick up 10-15hp and 20ft lb.
'Meh' on paper, different story on the road & track.
9 months on since the tune and all data logs still looking spot on
