Hi All,

I have been very lucky - I have won a set of 4 new tyres of my choice for my car!

It's a 2025 VZ2 333ps and it's currently on 235/35 R19 Bridgestone Turanza 6s. These tyres are simply unable to cope with the power, so looking forward to swapping to an ultra-performance tyre. I am looking for your recommendations and appreciate any advice you may have!

Many thanks!

You won't go far wrong with a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. I'm probably going to go for a set of Goodyear Asymmetric 6 types on my Formentor VZ3 next as they are also a great all year round tyre that I've yet to try.

Anything with a word that could translate as touring is going to prioritise long life over ultimate grip.

Mine (same car as yours) is an ex Cupra UK HQ company car (with KY reg), and has Hankook Vetus S01 EVOs fitted. They have never given me a surprise even in close to icy conditions and extreme rain, however from a standing start the dashboard tells me I'm using 85% torque in first gear so the traction control is preventing wheel spin. My other cars (300+ hp and rear wheel drive) have Michelin pilot sport and Pirelli PZero Rosso Asimmetrico. Both are excellent.

Out of interest, what sort of competition has that prize?
And BTW, I just got an email from Michelin inviting me to enter a draw to win the cost of my Michelin tyres. As that was over £600 I have entered.

It was a competition run by Flat-Out Competitions with a live draw of Facebook. Bought 4 tickets, and got 1 free, for £7.96! 752 were in the draw - so reasonable odds!

Mine is also ex Cupra UK HQ, also with a KY plate!
