As far as I remember, the Leon K1 was also available with Side Assist in the exterior mirrors, i check this. Control units cost between €100 and €200. Brackets for both sides cost approximately €50. Wiring harnesses from AliExpress cost between €80 and €100.

Hi everyone. I purchased a 2020 seat Leon FR 2 days ago, was wondering if it’s possible to enable auto high beams on the car? I have the camera on the front of my windscreen, can anyone help me pls. ( I don’t really have a clue how any of this works yet - sorry if I’m being dumb😂)

Hi all,
I'm tempted to buy a OBDeleven 3 dongle for my MK4.5.
Before buying I'd like to know if there is some kind of list what can be changed.
There are two things (for now) I'd like to change if possible: Turn off speed limit warning by default and set the personal drive mode by default.
It probably doesn't make sense to buy the dongle for only those two settings without even knowing if it's possible to set these by default so some kind of list would be great.
I got to be honest I didn't read all 48 pages of this thread and search function didn't help me either.

Buongiorno
Grazie in anticipo.

Good morning I tried to activate the sport view on the 2022 leon mk4 ST 2.0 TDI DSG, the view is activated with the central tachometer and central digital speed, but the tachometer needle does not appear, has it happened to anyone, how do I solve it? Thanks in advance.

@ricsport you will be better off posting in English if you want answers.

Good evening. I have another question.
I’m trying to activate the alarm with the horn. I’m following a guide, but I can’t find the last option mentioned in it.
So I was wondering if anyone could explain how to do it or suggest an alternative way.

I’ve attached a photo where I highlighted the option mentioned in the guide that I’m unable to find

Thanks in advance for your help

I have ordered a 2026 Seat Leon Break FR (manual) with the Safe & Driving pack L (in Belgium). Standard the FR has the M pack. There is no option for an XL pack.

The explanation for the L pack is:
- Automatic distance + speedsystem
- Dynamic Traffic sign recognition
- Automatic (de)activation of main beam
- Traffic warning rear
- Exit warning system
- Lance Change Assist

I also have the Vision Plus pack:
- Park Assist

I also have the wrap around lights.

Would Travel assist be included here?? If not would I be able to add it with obdeleven ord would SFD2 be a roadblock?

Sincerely

For travel assist you need a DSG to get you going again from stop. A manual you need to change gears your self to get going again the essense of travel assist. Your top like line "Automatic distance + speedsystem" means without changing gear in a manual it varies distance and speed but at some stage you might have to grab the leaver to change gear if it turned out you were in the wrong gear.

That said SFD2 knock out most stuff. You can download the app and look to see what is supported. Last time I did that to someones question the app wasnt even supported for the model after 2025. Another way of looking at it. Obdeleven forumn will contain posts on SFD2 but as said either way in a manual you wont get travel assist.

Ok, Thank you for the information. I kinda got my hopes up since someone here in this topic got travel assist working on a 2020-2021 model with a manual (gear changes needed to happen quite quick he said - 1 to 2 seconds). But it is what it is. Fingers crossed that SFD2 gets a workaround soon.

In the coding for travel assist you can look at which modules you need to program, if any are SFD2 protected then it's not possible but as said the Obdeleven app didn't support the model in question once SFD2 came in. SFD1 it did, you could toggle between years. So the app hadn't been rolled out to the SFD2 car.

There will be a reason for that on SFD2 I guess. The Leon folk will know I'm sure....

Anyhow I looked at the Obdeleven thread I refer people to and Dv52 (Don) the expert on these things, his reputation goes before him has put a damp squid on things:

January 30th 2026 post near the current end. It is as I thought the future of DIY coding with sfd2 has reached the end. Sfd 1 VAG gave way and let people do things taking an income from coding device companies when the handshaking protocol was enacted. Little earner. Now with safety concerns and all matter of things as connected cars the systems are locked down from user medalling.

Bit like a dog chasing it's tail.
