Well this is where @East Yorkshire Retrofits would say dont do mib3/4 updates yourself on posted up software. Other aspects of the car may also need updating. It's all suppose to be taken care of on online over the air updates, if it isnt there is a reason for that. The updates were applied successfully to my car to the infotainment system and the SOS module. I'm now on version 1969. My car was working perfectly... for 2 weeks... Now I am getting an SOS module warning light saying 'Error: emergency call, please visit workshop'. Slowly getting sick of this car.
Was done by a main dealer, all relevant modules (I assume) were updated as part of the TPI.Well this is where @East Yorkshire Retrofits would say dont do mib3/4 updates yourself on posted up software. Then they left you with a problem or just chance. Its that telematics unit. Does it fall into the first two years of the Leon 4 where they were suppose to come into be fixed. Second hand ones where customer just did the trick to shut it up then sold on. Suspect you are going to say not that. Video it playing up and show it to the service desk. Was done by a main dealer, all relevant modules (I assume) were updated as part of the TPI.
Yes. The OCU 8 update fixes the SOS error. The software version is now 311 (previously 144). You must log in again after the update. Some users have their ambient settings removed and radio settings.1 month later update... had a software update OUN8 offered to me when I started up the car today, updated it and upon startup the SOS light is now gone!
