• Hey Guest💡👉 We have recently launched our new Dealer Directory and review service Find out more now
Any radio station updates following along as a matter of interest. 1.31.58 is suppose to be the latest but question whether the file links do anything on Seat / Cupra. Seem to be some SEs in this in MartiniBs post. If not it will probably arrive at some point. Some seem to be at an early release that I've seen.

You could try this now the SE has now appeared in the files:

Done - Cupra Leon VZ hybrid 2021

After install manually via USB i got one OTA update but the version 1988 didn't change
Was that a radio logo update by any chance. You'd need to know what it was on before and after. I say this since that appears what happens after a firmware update. I guess if you force a firmware update then their systems say we'll give you a logo update now. You'd have to check the releases.

Now the SE id is in the latest off line logos I posted on the pinned thread on logos:

here:

so you might also stir them into life that way. Depends how good they have completed the part number details for Seat / Cupra in that file. Vag had a reputation for not keeping on top of mib2 POI import. Similar principle.

Still waiting for someone to say whether that logo file is useable.

Did you update with the file provided by @Ruslan1718 on Mega?
Didn't work for me, a user on Reddit sent me the 1988 version.

In my 2021 Cupra Leon ST VZ Hybrid, I noticed the system was faster, especially when starting.
I don't know if it's just me, but in Hybrid mode, it uses the combustion engine more, and once it starts, it only switches to EV when the coolant reaches 90 degrees.

Update happened last week, today I noticed for first time working: google maps directions within my digital cockpit (using an iPhone)

Did you update only Infotainment?
It cannot change engine behaviour.

I tried but couldn't get this to work.

Are you on iOS 18.6.2 ?

I’ve also had Google maps directions appear on cockpit digital display.

Hello!
The OTA update 1988 software arrived for Seat Leon today. I installed it smoothly, but I didn't experience any particular changes. I was waiting precisely because of Seat Connect, because I haven't been able to become a main user for almost a year. I can't even after countless emails, settings, and following instructions. It opens/closes with 2 factory keys, seat connect, and has an application... I've done everything I could... Is there anyone who has been in similar shoes?
Thanks in advance for your answers!
I have the same issue, I cannot get any profile to store on the car!

Well, I got sick of waiting to get the v1988 update OTA, so decided to update "manually" via USB (thanks to the help provided by various posts on this forum). I download the update (9 GB or so) and updated the Infotainment. It went very smoothly, then got a small OTA update immediately after I did the big one. It's now on 1988, yay !!!

It remains to be seen at this stage, if this fixes that infuriating bug where - every couple of weeks or so - the Infotainment "resets" certain settings to default (like the "wave your hand" setting) and re-runs the stupid tutorial. I'll let everyone know. That was my only real issue, but it drove me mad! Thanks again to everyone.

Oh great - that stupid bug (that causes the tutorial to pop up randomly) STILL exists, even after updating to 1988. Sigh ... whatever bug fixes were in that 9 GB update, they clearly missed this one. I needn't have bothered updating ...

Sadly, I suspect that 1988 will be the last update for us "pre-facelift" people, so I guess I'm stuck with it. I give up!

I have the exact same problem; once in a while the infotainment system completely resets. All my favorite radio stations are gone etc. I'm still on software 1969 and would like to update to 1988. Which file did you use to update to 1988?

Someone kindly provided a link to the firmware on this forum. Could be earlier in this thread. It was hosted on a Russian (!) server which was a little concerning at first, but it updated my Leon OK.

It did take a while (many hours) to download from the server, I think due to it being on “free” hosting. But after that, it was quite straightforward.

The YT video linked above was very helpful too, as it can be a bit unnerving watching the update go slowly.

As ever, proceed at you own risk. But good luck.

I also have this excite same issue, given that it looks like 1988 doesn't fix it, I won't be in a hurry to update myself.
