In the middle of a leaky door seal fix on my drivers door and I cannot open it from the inside.
Opening from the outside is fine.Pulling the wire does nothing.

My MOT is due and it wont pass without this being fixed.
Can someone help me where I'm going wrong with it?

I had a similar situation, the hook on the end of the cable was in the back on the handle but there is a small black plastic piece that also needs to clip in on the back of the door card. Slotted this in now works perfect. Hope that helps

Thanks Notts, I looked at the leaky door guide and noticed the black clip, I reattached it making sure the lock cable runs through the groove and the door opens again from inside.

What a luxury! :D

I had that problem also. Had to take the door card off once (one of those sun screens got inadvertently wedged between the glass and door), put it all back together and the inside handle didn't operate the door.

After a bit of head scratching and going back on yourself found out that this clip wasn't seated properly. Job done.

Hope you get it sorted.
