I have had one of those common problems with the 1.2 mk4's yesterday..i.e the VERY rough idle, wanting to stall, loss of power until you floor etc etc...
i havent VAGcommed it yet as i have a date with AmD on the 13th. my EML has been on for over a week.

just a quickie anyone know how to get the injectors out of the fuel rail and what is the best way of changing them with the least amount of fuel spillage cheers!!
How much are the PD130 Injectors and the standard turbo from a dealer?
I know that the injectors on our PD arent cheap like a petrol brothers! Any one got any prices?

Apoligies if this has been covered, but does anyone know where to get bigger injectors for a mk2 Ibiza TDI 90? And roughly how much they'd cost. Also, would a specialist have to fit them and do something to the ECU?
If i wanted to have my car remapped aswell, should i get the injectors first...

I wanted to fit a turbo from a 130bhp golf and injectors along with intercooler , remap
I spoke to jabbasport today who said injectors are not needed is it worth me getting the injectors anyway as the price is only £80 or is it a total waste of money...

A mate said today that his friend heard on a TT site that you could fit Scooby injectors to a VAG engine.
To all the wise knowledgeable Seat owners on here - is this the case and would it be jap injectors or Uk spec.
Any advice much appreciated.

Up 32bhp and 23lbft from its new manifold and 75mm t'body.
New injectors needed as 620's previous maxed out over 5K rpm
as old dyno belowas ref,
Cams drop in next. and re dyno again to see.

Seems to be mixed opinion on these when doing the GTRS eliminator conversion.... wondering what peoples thoughs are on the following:
When using the standard 3bar FPR on the LC - 550cc? Or could I get away with 440cc if I upgrade to the 4bar FPR?
Any other suggestions ?

I keep bashing into a wall so it seems in getting hold of someone able to buy uprated PD(130) injectors 'outright'.
Allard seems to have them for sale at 975 GBP + your old injectors in working state, which would be rather a crazy amount of cash as I'd have to buy new injectors to...
Rite ive had a search about on the forum but have had no luck.
I was looking to no if its possible to change the injectors in a 1.6S to different ones out of another VAG engine, the like of the 1800 ? Wot benefits would I see in power wise etc ?

This appears to be a common modification amongst the VAG engines especially the 1.8t In order to run bigger injectors the ecu either needs to be reprogrammed (if you can get into the relevant maps) or by modifying the sensor inputs in order for the ecu to cope. Bigger housing means more air...
If i look in ETOS for the partnumbers then they are both the same.
But now my tuner claims that the PD160 has different injectors.
It's hard to get my ibiza FR tdi over 200hp even with all my mods and this doesn't seem right to me:shrug: .
What do you guys think about it...are they the same...
